Frequently Asked Questions

The basics on getting started, staking, and getting paid.

How do I get started?

Sign up, play three placement games against our bot, and your ELO is set before you stake anything. After that you can deposit SOL and jump into matchmaking.

How do stakes work?

Pick a stake from $5 to $100, join the queue, or send a challenge link to a friend. Both players' stakes go into escrow before the clock starts.

What are the time controls?

Every stake game uses five minutes on the clock plus two seconds added after each move you play. When your time runs out, you lose.

How does the winner get paid?

When the game ends, the winner receives 95% of the pot straight to their in-app balance. The remaining 5% covers platform fees.

Do I need to connect a wallet every game?

No. Deposit SOL once and your in-app balance covers stakes plus a small reserve on every game. You won't need wallet pop-ups while you are playing.

What happens if my opponent disconnects?

Standard abandonment rules apply. If a player leaves or times out, the remaining player wins and the escrow pays out after the game is confirmed.
