Report Cheating

Report opponents you believe used engines, received outside assistance, intentionally disconnected to avoid loss, or colluded in staked games. Reports are reviewed as part of our fair-play process.

Every staked game is analyzed automatically after it ends. Manual reports help us prioritize edge cases and repeat offenders.

Email support@pvpchess.com with subject line FAIR PLAY REPORT. Include your username, opponent username, game ID, stake tier, and why the game looked suspicious.

Optional: note unusual move times, perfect engine correlation, or prior history with the same player. Do not harass players in chat or public channels.

Reports are reviewed alongside automated analysis signals. Confirmed violations may result in forfeiture, strike penalties, temporary matchmaking bans, or permanent account action.

Payouts may be held during investigation. We notify affected accounts when a final decision is made.

If you receive a fair-play penalty you believe is wrong, reply to our decision email or contact support@pvpchess.com with FAIR PLAY APPEAL in the subject and your reasoning.

Repeated bad-faith reports may lead to restrictions on your account. Submit reports when you genuinely suspect abuse, not after every loss.
